Woodway is in McLennan County. Woodway is served by US Highways
6 and 84.Woodway is close to the city of Waco. The community of Woodway
was incorporated as Woodway Village in 1955. In 1973 Woodway Village became
the City of Woodway. Today Woodway has about ten thousand residents. The
Woodway Arboretum has over six acres of garden open to Woodway visitors.
