Schertz is partly in Guadalupe, Bexar and Comal County. Schertz
is between San Antonio and Austin if driving on Interstate 35. If traveling
on Interstate 10 Schertz is between san Antonio and Houston. Schertz has
a growing number of residents now over twenty seven thousand. Schertz schools
are under the Schertz Cibolo Universal City ISD. Schertz is in the San Antonio
metro area. Schertz got its name from the Schertz family in 1843. Schertz
was previously called 'Cibolo Pit' and for a period of time following a
flood 'Cut Off 'but these were rejected in favor of Schertz. There are many
quality reataurants in Schertz.
