Plainview is found in Hale County on the plains of West Texas.

early nineteen hundreds when the railway came to Plainview it brought economic
stability to the Plainview economy. Plainview is often referred to as the
Lone star of Texas. Plainview is forty miles north from Lubbock. Plainview
has good road links as it sits on Interstate 27. Local Plainview amenities
include Plainview Movie Theatre and Plainview Country Club.
