Kingsville is in Kleberg County just west of the Gulf of Mexico.
Kingsville was built on land donated by the King Ranch. Kingsville saw its
first settlers in 1853. The Kingsville economy is reliant on growing citrus
products, cattle, oil and banking. Places to visit in Kingsville include
John E. Connor Museum which is housed at Texas A&M University - Kingsville
campus and the King Ranch. Many Birders visit Kingsville as it has a wide
diversity of species to view and observe. There is an annual Wildlife and
Birding Festival in Kingsville and many rodeos. Downtown Kingsville has
many historic landmarks and places of interest. The Naval Air Station Kingsville
is east of Kingsville. NAS Kingsville is by the US Navy to train tactical
jet pilots.
