its name from its first postmaster Mr. Ephraim Gray a former resident of
Huntsville in Alabama. Sam Houston State University is located in Huntsville.

of Texas. Huntsville has over 36,000 residents within the Huntsville Independent
School District. No visit to Huntsville would be complete without experiencing
the two thousand acre Huntsville State Park. This vast recreation area is
only a short drive from downtown Huntsville.
