Falfurrias is in Brooks County. Falfurrias is centrally located
between Corpus Christi and Laredo. The City of Falfurrias is in the Brooks
County ISD. Falfurrias saw its first settlers in 1883 when a small community
was establised there.The name Falfurrias is thought to be associated with
a local Falfurrias wild flower which translated from Spanish means hearts
delight. Falfurrias currently has over 4,000 residents. Local attractions
in the Falfurrias area include the Falfurrias Heritage Museum. Recreational
activities in Falfurrias include local Golf courses.
