The city of Early is in Brown County. Early has a community
of over 3000. The city of Early is located almost in the center of Texas.
Early is served by the Early ISD. Early got its name from a Kentucky born
attorney who generously gave land to the community in order for a school
to be built he was called Mr. Walter U Early. The city of Early was incorporated
in 1951. The Douglas MacArthur Academy of Freedom - Howard Payne University
in Brownwood is about three miles from Eagle Pass. Recreational activities
in the Early area include Hollywood Theatres which is located on Early Boulevard,
Brownwood. Local football team is the Early Longhorns.
